Sanur to Lembongan

Sanur is a local beach on the east coast of the Kuta/Denpasar area.  From there you can get various boats across to the nearby islands.  Lembongan is the island that people go for a day trip, although you can live there.

To get to Lembongan you take a speed boat of some kind which pulls up at the beach.  The trip costs between 150000 and 300000 depending upon the speed and fanciness of your boat.

The sea between Bali and Lembongan seems possessed as it can have super large waves and swell even on the most tranquil of days.

The journey takes between 25 mins and 1.5 hours.   The 25 minute, expensive boat is well worth the money unless you’re on a tight budget.
