Bali Arrival

When you arrive at Denpasar airport you are greeted by a hell like queue for the Visa on Arrival desk.  There are staff hanging around asking if you want to skip the queue for a fee. Didn’t try it.  Waited about an hour for them to process about 30 people.   Visa cost is $25US.

Then headed to Kuta by taxi which I could only find by going to the official taxi counter where I got a flat rate of 70,000rp.  This I found later to be overpriced for the distance but couldn’t find any alternatives, such as the elusive buses.
